Leamington Lunchtime Leagues: Blue or Black
There is some debate about the use of the blue or black ball.
Read this:
In particular, it says:
- Players competing in leagues below premier leagues should use the blue
ball, unless both players agree to use the black
- All recreational players should use the blue ball
It also comments that the black ball was introduced to make the behaviour
more like that of a squash ball. Personally, I don't see that as an advantage.
So, the rule of this league is:
Use a blue ball unless both players agree to use a black ball.
